Round 15 of the 2010 season was held October 31st in Denver, NC. This was the 2nd time the series visited Denver this year and this time it coincided with Halloween, great recipe for an awesome weekend. The area had received earlier in the week which left the course with very nice soil conditions.
I ran a bit late and didn’t make it in time for the Pee Wee race so apologize for that. There was some great racing and watching some of the riders in costumes competing was just that much more to enjoy. The Noon and Afternoon races saw some great action although the 5 mile course with such large fields did create some traffic problems which were intensified in the Afternoon race.
I also had a front row seat when my friend Jason decided to pick a fight with a group of trees. Definitely not something I’m in any hurry to repeat. Luckily after a few minutes he was up and riding his bike back to pack it up and head home. Easy on them trees Jason, they fight back!!
